Range Ventilation Design, Inc. offers the following Technical Consultation services:
Field Examination service including: Analyze existing range ventilation system and compare and contrast to current NIOSH, OSHA, and EPA recommendations/standards. Identify corrective measures that will bring the range into compliance including operational and procedural issues. Perform smoke test to determine airflow velocity profile at cross-sectional area of firing line. Perform smoke test to determine airflow velocity downrange. Measure supply airflow volume at cross-sectional area of firing line. Measure exhaust volume and range negative pressure. Examine supply distribution system configuration and general supply and exhaust ductwork layout. Review overall architectural aspects of range configuration and compare to industry design standards.
Submit a written report documenting the findings along with an estimated cost to implement corrective measures. Range Ventilation Design, Inc. requires a full set of building drawings including architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, etc. prior to the site-visit to ensure an accurate assessment.
